Glennies Creek Dam Notification

State Water advises that a controlled release from Glennies Creek Dam will commence tonight, Thursday 2 February 2012 from 7pm. The release will be between 800-900ML per day, and may continue for up to three days.

Please note:

·                       The current release is approximately 300ML per day.

·                       In November 2011 releases of about 3,800ML per day were made.

·                       Current river flows at the Mid Fal Brook river gauge are approximately 580ML per day.

River levels will rise, so landholders should remain vigilant and reposition all stock and equipment. In some cases access may also be restricted if causeways are flooded.
