Remember: Taking simple precautions will in most cases reduce the risk of being infected with COVID-19. These precautions include regular handwashing with soap or hand sanitiser; staying one metre away from anyone sneezing or coughing; cover your own mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing; avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth; and, if you feel unwell, self-isolate and call your preferred medical centre before attending the surgery so they can ensure vulnerable patients are not exposed if you do indeed have COVID-19.
