For Wednesday 28 February:
Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather
districts:
Flinders, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges, Riverland, Murraylands,
Upper South East and Lower South East
Weather Situation
Hot to very hot and dry with moderate to fresh north to
northeasterly winds tending fresh to strong and gusty northwesterly
during the morning. A milder, fresh and gusty west to southwesterly
wind change will extend over the west and south during the
afternoon and early evening. Isolated gusty thunderstorms with
little to no rainfall are possible across central and southeast
districts during the morning and afternoon.
