EMERGENCY WARNING - Wrights Creek (Central Coast LGA)

An emergency warning is in place for a bush fire burning west of Kulnara on the Central Coast. The fire is out of control.

Current Situation

A fire is burning west of Kulnara.
Fire activity has increased this afternoon due to hot and windy conditions.
The fire is spreading quickly towards Kulnara.
If you are in the path of the fire, you are at risk.
The Three Mile bush fire is also burning south of this area. Information on this fire is available here.

If you are in the area of Kulnara, you are at risk.
It is too late to leave.
Seek shelter as the fire approaches. Protect yourself from the heat of the fire.
If you are threatened by fire

Do not be in the path of the fire.
Protect yourself from the heat of the fire. Wear protective clothing and footwear. Cover all exposed skin.
If the fire impacts, seek shelter in a solid structure to protect yourself from the heat of the fire.
If your life is at risk, call Triple Zero (000).
