A bush fire is burning in the vicinity of Crestwood Dr and The Ruins Way, Port Macquarie. The fire is currently 36 hectares in size and is being controlled.

Current Situation

The fire is burning is a south-westerly direction away from homes in coastal heath.

Residents in the area are likely to experience increased smoke and embers.

There are no current threats to homes.
