Watch and Act - Gulf Rd (Tenterfield LGA)

A bush fire is burning in the Gulf Road, Torrington area. The fire
is more than 3,980 hectares in size and is out of control.
Current Situation
There has been an increase of fire activity.
The fire is moving in a north easterly direction towards Silent
Grove and Maids Valley.
Total Fire Bans are in place and winds are expected to strengthen
across the day.
Smoke and embers may affect people in the area of Mole
River.
Advice
Monitor conditions in your area.
Check and follow your Bush Fire Survival Plan. If you do not have
a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. Leaving
early is your safest option.
