Watch and Act - Kingsgate Red Range fire (Glen Innes Severn
LGA)

A bush fire is bushland approximately 15 kilometres east of Glen
Innes, in the area of the London Bridge State Forest. The fire is
spreading quickly.
Current Situation
The fire is spreading quickly through bushland in the area of the
London Bridge State Forest.
Due to strong winds, the fire is causing spot fires well ahead of
the main fire front.
These spot fires may threaten properties in the area of Newton
Boyd.
Firefighters are working in the area, and additional crews are
being sent.
Emergency Alert telephone warnings are being sent to phones in the
area.
Advice
If you're in the area of Newton Boyd in the London Bridge State
Forest, be aware of smoke embers.
These embers may start spot fires which could threaten you and
your property.
Monitor your property for spot fires. If a spot fire starts, do
what you can to extinguish it.
Check and follow your Bush Fire Survival Plan. If you do not have
a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. Leaving
early is your safest option.
