Weather Situation
Severe fire dangers are forecast for the Southeast Coast, Darling Downs and Granite Belt, Central Highlands and Coalfields and Wide Bay and Burnett districts today.

A surface trough has moved through southeast Queensland. Dry and fresh to strong west to southwesterly winds behind the trough are bringing elevated fire dangers to southeastern areas. Conditions should ease after sunset as temperatures decrease and winds ease.
