Thunderstorms with damaging winds but not much rain today.

Thunderstorms with gusty winds and not much rain are affecting parts of the warning area. Some of these may be severe, with damaging wind gusts in excess of 90 km/h during this afternoon and evening. Locations which may be affected include Coober Pedy, Tarcoola, Oodnadatta, Wudinna, Cleve and Roxby Downs.

A gust to 106 km/h occurred at Tarcoola just after 4 pm today.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
