Weather Situation: A vigorous southerly airstream on the eastern flank of a developing low pressure system near Tasmania will extend over the southeast of the State this morning.

Localised damaging winds averaging 50-65km/h with gusts of around 90km/h are forecast over coastal parts of the warning area, with damaging wind gusts extending over the remainder of the warning area during the morning. Damaging winds will mostly be associated with squally showers and thunderstorms.

Locations which may be affected include Mount Gambier, Murray Bridge, Naracoorte, Victor Harbor, Lameroo, Meningie, Bordertown, Karoonda and Keith.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
