Strong to damaging winds and dust for northern SA this evening.

A southerly change is pushing across north central parts of South Australia this evening. Strong to damaging southerly winds, averaging 50-65 km/h with gusts around 80-90 km/h are likely to occur in the warning area for a few hours, with and immediately following the change. Blowing dust will make driving conditions hazardous.

Locations which may be affected include Roxby Downs, William Creek, Oodnadatta, Leigh Creek and Marree.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
