Strong to Gale Force westerly winds developing today about the southeast coast.

Weather Situation: A vigorous westerly flow over southern South Australia developing a cold front approaches from the west.

Damaging westerly winds, averaging 50 to 60 km/h with peak gusts to around 90 km/h, mainly with showers, are expected to develop about the south of the Lower South East district late this morning then continue through the afternoon.

Locations which may be affected include Mount Gambier and Millicent.
