Strong westerly winds are likely to be squally over the warning area, averaging 50-60 km/h at times with gusts to around 90-100 km/h.

The Lower South East district is most likely to be affected with wind gusts this morning, extending north to remaining parts of the warning area in the late afternoon and evening. The damaging winds will be mainly associated with squally showers.

Locations which may be affected include Robe, Beachport, Millicent, Mount Gambier, Naracoorte, Meningie, Keith and Bordertown.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
