Windy conditions across Lower Eyre Peninsula.
Damaging westerly winds, averaging 50-65 km/h with gusts in excess
of 90 km/h, are possible in the warning area for the next 1-2 hours
with the passage of a cold front.
Winds gradually easing early evening.
Locations which may be affected include Port Lincoln, Cummins and
Tumby Bay.
Port Lincoln Airport has observed winds averaging 60-70 km/h with
wind gusts to 89 km/h around 4-4:30 pm today.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are
severe.
