Heavy rain possible today over the northeast.

Weather Situation: A low pressure trough will slowly cross northeast Victoria during Sunday.
HEAVY RAIN which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is possible across the east and northeast of Victoria today.

Falls within the warning area over the next 12 hours are likely to be between 20 and 50mm with some higher totals associated with thunderstorms.
Rain is expected to ease over the area this evening.

Locations which may be affected include Wodonga, Wangaratta, Corryong, Bright, Falls Creek and Omeo.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't walk, ride or drive through flood water;
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains;
* Be aware that in fire affected areas, rainfall run-off into waterways may contain debris such as ash, soil, trees and rocks;
* Be alert that in areas recently affected by fires, heavy rainfall increases the potential for landslides and debris across roads;
