ISOLATED DESTRUCTIVE WIND GUSTS WITH VERY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS.

Weather Situation: A surface low pressure and a very unstable airmass combine with an upper wave to generate severe thunderstorms this afternoon.

VERY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORMS are likely to produce damaging, locally destructive winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Port Augusta, Roxby Downs, Hawker, Woomera, Tarcoola and Quorn.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the West Coast district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.

131 KM/H WIND GUST WAS OBSERVED AT TARCOOLA AT 4:17 PM.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
