Heavy rainfall impacting Adelaide
The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 7:40 pm, a severe
thunderstorm likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to
flash flooding was detected near Glenelg and Henley Beach. This
thunderstorm is moving towards the east. It is forecast to affect
Adelaide City, Blackwood and Woodville by 8:10 pm and Tea Tree
Gully, Modbury and Athelstone by 8:40 pm.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
