Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
Monaro Alpine and Southern Ranges

Weather Situation
Hot and dry conditions with moderate to fresh northwest to southwest winds will drive extreme fire dangers during Friday afternoon over parts of southeast NSW.
Winds are expected to shift milder northeast to southeasterly during the evening. Isolated thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon and bring a dry lightning risk.
