for the Greater Hunter fire weather district

For Monday 21 September:

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
Greater Hunter
Weather Situation

Warm and very dry conditions, combined with moderate to fresh and gusty west to northwesterly winds, will result in elevated fire danger across the Greater Hunter district. A cool, moderate to fresh and gusty south to southeasterly wind change is expected to reach the Hunter coastal areas around midday, before moving through inland parts of the Greater Hunter during the afternoon and evening. Increased moisture is expected to follow behind the change.
