MINOR TO MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE ACROSS RIVERS FROM AYR TO WIDE
BAY BURNETT, INCLUDING ADJACENT INLAND CATCHMENTS
Ex-Tropical Cyclone Koji made landfall along the Queensland coast
early Sunday morning. Heavy to locally intense rainfall is forecast
for the remainder of Sunday and into Monday along the central
Queensland coast and adjacent inland areas. These catchments are
wet to saturated following recent heavy rainfall and rapid and
dangerous river level rises are likely.
Heavy rainfall is possible further into the Wide Bay and Burnett
parts of the Central Highland and Goldfields and Central West
Queensland over the next few days. These catchments are drier and
may take longer to respond to rainfall.
A Severe Weather Warning for heavy, locally intense rainfall is
current for parts of the Flood Watch area.

Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam
Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam
Connors, Isaac and Styx Rivers and Plane Creek
Comet and Nogoa Rivers
Dawson and Don Rivers
Mackenzie and Fitzroy Rivers and Shoalwater and Water Park
Creeks
Calliope River
Boyne River
Baffle Creek
Kolan River
Burnett River
Burrum and Cherwell Rivers
Barcoo River
Flood warnings are current for the following catchment(s) :
Herbert, Upper Burdekin, Lower Burdekin, Haughton, Ross, Bohle,
Don, Proserpine, Pioneer, Lower Flinders, Norman, Gilbert, Georgina
and Eyre, Diamantina and Thomson.
Flooding is no longer expected in the following catchment(s):
Jacky Jacky, Olive and Pascoe, Lockhart, Stewart, Normanby,
Jeannie, Endeavour, Daintree, Mossman, Barron, Murray, Staaten,
Mitchell, Coleman and Edward, Holroyd and Kendall, Archer and Coen,
Watson, Embley and Mission, Wenlock, Ducie, Jackson and Skardon and
Jardine
