Severe thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts continue in eastern parts of the state.

Weather Situation: Severe thunderstorms have developed in a strong north to northwesterly flow ahead of a cold front. Storms are moving to the southeast and may persist over far eastern districts until mid-morning.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Renmark, Bordertown, Olary, Berri and Danggali Conservation Park.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Flinders, Mid North and North West Pastoral districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.

95 km/h wind gust was recorded at Mount Crawford at 2:47am.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
