Severe thunderstorms in central parts of the state including Adelaide.

Weather Situation: A trough moving east combines with an unstable airmass to trigger severe thunderstorms in central parts of the state. These are expected to continue into the evening as they gradually move east.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds over the next several hours in parts of the North West Pastoral, Flinders and North East Pastoral districts.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding over the next several hours in the Adelaide Metropolitan and parts of the Mount Lofty Ranges districts. Locations which may be affected include Adelaide.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula and Mid North districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.
