Damaging wind gusts to develop from early Saturday morning.

Weather Situation: A surface trough in central South Australia will combine with a strong high in the south to strengthen east to northeasterly flow across the ranges from early Saturday morning.

East to northeasterly winds with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS with peak gusts of around 90 km/h are likely to develop over parts of the Flinders Ranges and its immediate western slopes from early Saturday morning.

Damaging wind gusts are forecast to ease below warning thresholds by Saturday afternoon.

Locations which may be affected include Hawker, Melrose, Parachilna and Quorn.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
