Damaging wind gusts occurring on and west of the Flinders Ranges during Saturday.

Weather Situation: A surface trough in central South Australia is combining with a strong high in the south to strengthen east to northeasterly flow across the Flinders Ranges.
East to northeasterly winds with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS with peak gusts of around 90 km/h are likely over parts of the Flinders Ranges and areas west of the ranges.
Damaging wind gusts are forecast to ease below warning thresholds by Saturday afternoon.
Locations which may be affected include Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Leigh Creek, Hawker and Parachilna.
An 85 km/h gust was observed at Port Pirie Airport at 6:46pm Friday.
An 80 km/h gust was observed at Port Augusta Airport at 3:35am Saturday.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
