Damaging wind gusts easing later this afternoon.

Weather Situation: A surface trough in central South Australia is combining with a strong high in the south to strengthen east to northeasterly flow on and west of the Flinders Ranges.

East to northeasterly winds with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS of around 90 km/h are likely over parts of the Flinders and Mid North districts, for areas on and west of the ranges.

Damaging wind gusts are forecast to ease below warning thresholds on Saturday afternoon, though conditions may remain gusty into Sunday morning.

Locations which may be affected include Port Pirie and Parachilna.

Severe weather is no longer occurring in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula and North East Pastoral districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
