Bushfire Emergency Warning - Zeehan and Surrounds - Leave now if

This is a Bushfire Emergency Warning message for Zeehan and
Surrounds - Leave now if safe to do so or seek shelter.
An uncontrolled bushfire at Zeehan and Surrounds is expected to
put lives in danger and may destroy unprepared homes on the
outskirts of Zeehan in the next 1-2 hours.
Fire conditions are expected to be uncontrollable, unpredictable
and fast moving.
The fire is travelling towards Zeehan.
There is expected to be thick smoke, and showers of embers which
may cause fires all around you. Fires will move quickly and may
come from many directions.
Tasmania Fire Service, Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service and
Sustainable Timber Tasmania is attending. Conditions are expected
to be changeable.
What to do:
The safest way to survive is to go to a safer location now.
If you can't stay with family or friends, there is an Evacuation
Centre at Queenstown Sports Stadium - ESPLANADE QUEENSTOWN TAS
7467. Only travel if it is safe for you to do so.
If you don't have a safe route to a safer place, shelter inside
the nearest building, regularly checking your surroundings and
putting out any fires near the building until the fire
passes.
There is a place of last resort (Nearby Safer Place) at Zeehan
Primary School, 7 Belstead St, Zeehan.
If you are out of the area do not try to return.
