Watch and Act - Bushfire - Prepare to Evacuate
Issued Today at 12:54 PM.
This Watch and Act message is being issued for Creswick,
Creswick.
It is strongly recommended that you Prepare to Evacuate.
There is a bushfire at Creswick_BAld_HillsRd that is not yet under
control
The bushfire is travelling from Armstrong Street in a
south-easterly direction towards Midland Highway. The fire is not
expected to cross the Midland Highway under the current
situation.
The fire has crossed the rail track
The Fire is on the east side of Railway road and in the
Plantation
If you choose to stay, emergency services may not be able to help
you.
If you are located in Creswick and Bald Hill area, act now to
protect your life. Prepare to evacuate immediately and leave as
soon as you are ready, as roads will become busy as people
leave.

Pet essentials, including leash and carriers.
If possible, make sure your neighbours are aware of the situation
and check if they need help.

When you are ready, you should leave immediately. Don't wait to be
told when to leave.

You can go to friends or family in a safer location.

Consider roads may become busy closer to the time of impact.

Bushfires can spread quickly and are extremely dangerous.
