This Watch & Act message is for Anakie between Carrs Road and Creek Road.

This Watch and Act message replaces the Advice message issued at 6:25pm.

There is a shed fire on Geelong-Ballan Road near Pringles Road, Anakie.

Due to the materials involved, the risk has increased.

Dangerous smoke is blowing in the vicinity of the fire.

Anyone located in Anakie between Carrs Road and Creek Road should take shelter indoors immediately.

What you should do:
Close all exterior doors and windows. Close vents and ensure heating and cooling systems are turned off.
If you are away from home do not return.
Bring your pets indoors.
Keep the roads clear so emergency services can respond.

Traffic may be disrupted along Geelong-Ballan Road in Anakie.
