MINOR TO ISOLATED MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE FROM TUESDAY
NIGHT
A frontal system with links to very high moisture is forecast to
move through the state on Tuesday. Areas of rainfall and
thunderstorms will develop during the morning on Tuesday and
increase in the afternoon, with moderate to heavy rainfall
possible.
Catchments are generally dry across the Flood Watch area, with
some areas slightly wetter due to rainfall observed during Sunday.
River level rises and areas of localised flooding are likely. Minor
to isolated moderate flooding is possible from Tuesday night.
There is significant uncertainty in the location and timing of the
heaviest falls. However, rapid creek and river level rises and
flash flooding are possible in areas that receive the heaviest
rainfall.
Flood Warnings will be issued if required.
A Severe Weather Warning for Heavy Rainfall is current for parts
of the Flood Watch Area.

Yarra River to Coldstream
Yarra River downstream of Coldstream

Seven and Castle Creeks
Goulburn River upstream of Lake Eildon
Goulburn River Eildon to Seymour
