ISOLATED MINOR TO MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING

Very high moisture links with a frontal system moving across the during Tuesday. Moderate to heavy rainfall with thunderstorms is forecast during Tuesday and overnight into Wednesday across the flood watch area.

Catchments are generally dry across the Flood Watch area, with some areas slightly wetter due to rainfall observed during Sunday. River level rises and areas of localised flooding are likely. Isolated minor to moderate flooding is possible from Wednesday morning.

There is significant uncertainty in the location and timing of the heaviest falls. However, rapid creek and river level rises and flash flooding are possible in areas that receive the heaviest rainfall.

Flood Warnings will be issued if required.

A Severe Weather Warning for Heavy Rainfall is current for parts of the Flood Watch Area.
