Bushfire WATCH AND ACT for parts of GREEN RANGE and METTLER the
CITY OF ALBANY
A bushfire WATCH AND ACT is in place for people in an area 3km
north of South Coast Highway and east of Kojaneerup Road West and
in an area south of South Coast Highway to the coastline, bound by
Cordinup River to the east and the Drawbin Road and South Coast
Highway intersection to the west in parts of GREEN RANGE and
METTLER the CITY OF ALBANY.
It is not contained or controlled.
WHAT TO DO
Stay alert and monitor your surroundings as conditions could
change.
If you are actively defending your property, continue to patrol
and put out spot fires.
Keep doors and windows closed, and evaporative air conditioners
turned off with water running through the system if possible.
If you have left your property within the warning area, it is not
yet safe to return.
Be patient and follow the directions of emergency services
personnel.
