Bushfire Watch and Act
MONITOR CONDITIONS - MINDARRA, MOGUMBER, RED GULLY
A Bushfire Watch and Act is in place for people bounded by Rogers
Road, Red Gully Road, Fynes Road including Mogumber Road West in
parts of MINDARRA, MOGUMBER, RED GULLY in the SHIRES OF DANDARAGAN,
GINGIN and VICTORIA PLAINS
There is a possible threat to lives and homes as a fire is burning
in the area and conditions are changing.
WHAT TO DO
Stay alert and monitor your surroundings as conditions could
change.
You may need to act quickly so ensure you are prepared if the
situation gets worse.
Read through your plan. If you do not have a plan, make one now on
Emergency WA or in the Emergency WA app.
Have your emergency kit ready.
If you are not prepared or you plan to leave, leave now if the way
is clear.
If you find it hard to move quickly, leaving now is your safest
option.
Keep your doors and windows closed to keep out smoke.
Continue to patrol your property and be ready to put out spot
fires.
If you plan to stay and defend ensure you are mentally and
physically prepared, with protective clothing and an independent
water supply.

The bushfire is moving in an easterly direction.
Road closures and conditions
Some roads may be closed.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive
carefully. Road information may also be available from Main Roads
WA by visiting the Main Roads Travel Map, calling 138 138 or by
contacting your Local Government Authority.
What firefighters are doing
Firefighters are actively fighting the fire.
Animal Welfare
Owners or carers of livestock, pets and companion animals should
activate their own animal welfare plan. During a bushfire take
advice from Local Government Authorities to protect the lives of
your animals while keeping yourself safe.
