Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
Yarra Yarra and Mortlock

Weather Situation
Hot and dry conditions in combination with fresh winds will lead to elevated fire dangers on Thursday. Northeast to southerly winds initially will shift northwesterly ahead of a fresh southwesterly change extending from the west from the early afternoon to across the warning area by early evening before winds gradual easing into the late evening. The slight risk of high based thunderstorm with minimal rainfall during the early afternoon.
