Flood Watch Number: 3

FLOODING POSSIBLE IN PARTS OF EASTERN AND NORTHERN CAPE YORK PENINSULA FROM THURSDAY

A moist easterly flow may combine with a slow-moving trough to produce severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall in parts of the eastern and northern Peninsula over the next several days.

Catchments within the Flood Watch area remain relatively wet from recent rainfall and can respond to further rainfall quickly.
