Severe thunderstorms continue in the north of of the state

Weather Situation: A trough in the north of the state is triggering a line of thunderstorms. These will continue to move eastwards and gradually weaken this evening.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and possible large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Marla, Coober Pedy, Ernabella and Tarcoola.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
